ReplyDeleteActually, the appendix does stuff. Not sure what though :S
ReplyDeleteSome scientists believe it's a vestigial organ having to do with digestion. Apparently our diet got less crazy and the appendix was out of a job. But also, some people whose appendices have been removed experience colon problems, which means it could have something to do with keeping colons healthy.
